Warehouse Manager (3rd Shift)

AEL-Span, a progressive and rapidly growing Third Party Logistics (3PL) provider, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager for our facility in Enfield, North Carolina.

With direction from the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager will function in a leadership capacity, with the core responsibilities of analyzing and recommending operational and infrastructure improvements, ensuring proper training is provided to all team members, helping to achieve customer satisfaction with an error/defect free service, communicating effectively with the customer and team members, and actively striving for continuous improvements by reviewing and reducing costs.

We are looking for a team player who thrives on providing excellent customer service and adherence to policies and procedures.  Candidates must possess strong computer knowledge and excellent people management skills.  Material handling experience is a definite plus. Qualified candidates must be dependable, responsible, and able to work Monday through Saturday, 10:00pm – 7:00am in a fast-paced environment.

Position Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in Supply Chain/Logistics as a supply chain manager.
  • Extensive experience in project management; proven ability to plan and organize multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer knowledge, especially Excel and other basic Microsoft Office software.
  • Experience documenting and improving standard work in a manufacturing and warehouse.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in customer service while operating in a fast-paced environment with a multitude of demands and deliverables.
  • Experience and ability to implement safety requirements and cautions in a warehouse and manufacturing setting.
  • Acute attention to detail, commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to complete standard work and multiple improvement projects within a team-based, fast-paced environment
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, in front of a customer, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groups
